Information for Parents

Children of all ages are welcome to worship with us here at Harvest Baptist Church.  Pastor Keith encourages the inclusion of kids in our Sunday service.

Parents of Babies and Toddlers

If your infant or toddler becomes fussy and you are more comfortable taking them out of the sanctuary, there is a Nursery with screened workers just down the hall.  Come out of the sanctuary and take a left.  The nursery (for children up to age 3) is the first door on your right.

Should you need to nurse or console your child at any time, there are rocking chairs in the room directly next to our nursery.  It is the second door on the right, down the main hall.  Feel free to close the door for privacy and make yourself comfortable.

We hope you feel right at home here with us at HBC!

Parents of School-Age Children

We offer some choices for your child’s worship experience.  Your child is welcome to sing, pray, and listen to the sermon along with the adults.  There are Children’s Worship Bulletins available in our Connection Corner in the rear of the sanctuary; kids can do these activities as they worship alongside you, their parents.

Or, we offer Praise Factory (our children’s church) for children, age 4- Grade 4.  After the singing and the offering is collected, children wishing to participate are dismissed.   They will go to the classroom down the main hall, just past the Women’s Restroom on the left.

Our carefully-screened children’s ministry workers prepare a lesson each week using a Lifeway curriculum, The Gospel Project, demonstrating how Christ's plan for redemption is carried throughout the entire Bible.

We pray that your child will connect with both other kids and God through their experience with us!  Feel free to reach out and ask any questions you may have.

“…but Jesus said, ‘Let the little children come to me and do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of heaven.’”
