Catechisms

The word ‘catechism' comes from a Greek word meaning ‘to teach out loud.’ We take the teaching of the Lord Jesus Christ seriously at Harvest, and catechisms can be a sound tool for learning the foundation of what the Bible teaches about God, Jesus, and our faith.

Below are two links for PDF files that can be downloaded and used as you see fit in your household.  They are divided into weeks, thus allowing for memorization of a few key principles at a time.

Don't be fooled by the ‘kid's catechism.' As you teach your children the questions and answers, you'll find yourself both learning and being reminded of the core truths of the Christian faith. Even a longer sermon is too short to contain all that the Bible teaches, and so the catechism is a helpful, weekly reminder of what we believe.
